This page guides you through selecting and customizing avatars in VIVERSE, managing saved looks, and discovering Marketplace outfits and assets that help you express your identity across Worlds.

Your avatar serves as your personal identity throughout VIVERSE. It represents you in games, social gatherings, meetings, or fully immersive VR environments. You can switch between different looks at any time, ensuring your presence always fits the setting. Users can store up to 15 avatars in your account, making it easy to express different sides of who they are.

Supported Avatar Types

VIVERSE supports multiple avatar formats that provide different styles and levels of customization across Worlds:

• Stylized Avatars: A modern, expressive option with a curated selection of characters. Wardrobe items can be swapped, and once created, these avatars can be downloaded for use outside of VIVERSE.

• Realistic Avatars: These avatars are generated from a selfie or live capture, mirroring your real-world appearance as closely as possible.

• Retro Avatars: A playful, nostalgic avatar creator featuring bold silhouettes and outfits inspired by classic animation.

• VRM Upload: Creators or VR enthusiasts who already have a personal VRM model can import and showcase it directly inside VIVERSE.

Personalize Your Avatar

Every avatar type offers ways to refine your virtual identity. Whether you prefer stylized, realistic, or retro designs, VIVERSE lets you tailor the details.

Stylized Avatars

These characters support multiple levels of personalization. You can select from preset outfits or upload a 256 × 256 pixel repeating pattern to give clothing and accessories a custom texture. Try clicking on the Randomize icon to quickly load outfit combinations.

Realistic Avatars

Since these models are built from a photo or scan, their recognizable appearance requires fewer edits. Small touch-ups and clothing options keep the focus on an avatar that feels close to the real you.

Use a photo or webcam as your Realistic avatar base.

The Realistic avatar will load and you can refine it with the available customization sliders.

Once your scan is processed and rendered, you can make adjustments via sliders to perfect the body, face, outfit, and accessories.

Retro Avatars

A broader customization toolkit gives you control over proportions and personality. Users can adjust height, facial structure, hairstyles, and outfit combinations to achieve a distinctive, old-school animated aesthetic.

VRM Models

Custom VRM files retain whatever styling has already been applied in the creation app. Import them seamlessly to ensure your established persona continues across VIVERSE Worlds.

Upload your custom virtual reality model (VRM) for use across VIVERSE through this drag-and-drop interface.

Confirm that your VRM appears as expected, then click Import to add it to My Avatars.

Marketplace Assets and Outfits

The VIVERSE Marketplace expands your customization options with a wide range of content created by both VIVERSE and independent creators. You can discover:

• Full outfit sets for a cohesive look tailored to specific themes of Worlds.

• Individual clothing pieces that allow you to mix, match, and refine personal style.

• Avatar characters designed to give you a fresh identity option right from the start.

Purchased with Mission Points, assets become part of your My Avatar outfit library and can be applied to supported avatar types. It provides a simple path to new fashion, season styles, or unique ensembles that help your presence stand out wherever you explore.

Manage Your Saved Avatars

In My Avatars, you can easily update your collection. Hover over any saved avatar and select the three vertical dots to open the management menu. From there, choose Delete to remove an avatar from your account or Export to download a compatible file for use on supported external platforms.

You can delete an avatar you no longer want, or download a VRM file of the avatar for use with other services or platforms.
