This document provides a guide that can be used to setup videos and extend the functionality of videos in a VIVERSE project.

Adding Video And Extending Video Functionality

The user uses the mouse to hover over the video to access the controls.	The video is playing.

Setup video

A. To add a video, right-click in the Hierarchy and select New Entity > Entity. Resize the video using the Scale property.

B. Click the "EDIT VIVERSE EXTENSION" button to add the VIVERSE functionality.

Configure video functionality

A. Using the Media plugin, videos can have additional functionality added such as auto play, displaying of controls and sound configuration. To extend the functionality of the video, click the Select plugins text field and select Media in the dropdown menu.

B. Select Video in the Select a module and add dropdown. Click "+" beside the dropdown.

C. Add the video to the asset property. Place a checkmark by the billboard property to have the video always facing the avatar. Uncheck the auto play property to prevent the video from starting when the avatar enters the environment.
